Yoga and Pilates Retreats
The Manor Estate provides a complete turn key experience, allowing retreat hosts to focus on hosting, and attendees to enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and tranquil experience from the moment they arrive.
Each room comes with fully prepared bedrooms, bathroom essentials including towels and basic toiletries, a hair dryer in each bedroom and kitchen and utility essentials with every room cleaned and maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
With retreat hires, your booking includes flowers for the dining table, advice and maps for walking, a meditation garden and, of course, a peaceful space for your group to feel relaxed and at ease.
The team at Manor Estate are also able to help in recommending excellent local suppliers and things to do nearby. They include caterers, massage and other treatment providers, local walks and sound baths. Please just ask!
The House
Comprising of 7 bedrooms the House is split into the South Wing and the Courtyard.
South Wing: 3 x ensuite bedrooms
Courtyard: 1 x ensuite, 3 bedrooms with shared bathroom
The Barn
The beautiful double-vaulted Barn offers underfloor heating, breakout spaces, modern facilities, and a convenient prep kitchen.
Step outside to enjoy expansive paddocks and gardens — ideal for open-air yoga or Pilates.

Venue Hire Options
Option 1: Dry hire of the barn only. No staff or bar. Access to sound system by prior arrangement. Maximum 20 participants. Prices start at £125/hr inc VAT for midweek bookings (2 hours minimum).
Option 2: One day hire – Manor Estate Barn for a full day. No staff or bar. Access to sound system by prior arrangement. Maximum 20 participants. Prices start at £600 inc VAT for midweek bookings (8 hours maximum).
Option 3: Two day hire – Manor Estate Barn and House
Access from 9am on the first day til 2pm on the second day

We were initially drawn to the venue by the picturesque grounds and beautiful interiors. After a virtual tour and a face to face visit, we fell even more in love with the place and decided to go ahead and place our deposit.
Over the next year, we planned our day which, due to the natural beauty of the barn and grounds, required us to need minimal decorations - we didn't want to distract from the natural features of the barn or the lovely outside areas.
Pippa was amazing throughout the whole planning stage, ensuring we were well prepared in the run up to the big day. Her personality and relaxed yet professional attitude shone through during our initial meets and really helped us to reach the decision to use the venue for our special day.
Due to the unpredictable British weather, our original plan of being married outside was decided for us - the day before, we made the call to get married inside the barn due to the unwanted rain we were having.
Although a little disappointed to have missed out on using the beautiful space outside for our ceremony, it was actually a blessing as our inside ceremony felt more intimate and enabled all of our guests to hear our wedding vows. We still managed to get some great photos later in the day within that beautiful space by the river having taken advantage of some intermittent sunshine.
Pippa was around to help set up beforehand and on the wedding day itself, she (and her mum and partner) made the day go smoothly. The turnaround of the venue's indoor space (from ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to evening reception) was seamless and everything was set up to our requests and it looked beautiful.
The wedding day itself was just perfect for us despite the on/off rain and Pippa definitely played a part in enabling our beautiful day to go so well.
My family and I stayed in the South Wing the night before and night of the wedding. The accommodation was faultless and helped to create that calm atmosphere you need just before your wedding day. Who'd have thought we'd be appreciative of a log fire in June!
Using the bridal suite to get ready with my bridesmaids was a real highlight. We all had so much space to do our thing with our hair and makeup artist also being able to set up with ample space, and our photographer able to navigate between us all with ease to get those all important 'getting ready' shots.
Some of our guests stayed in the Courtyard the night of the wedding and passed on their comments as to how clean and comfortable the accommodation was.
All in all, I would urge anyone to consider the Manor Estate for their wedding venue as not only is it breathtakingly gorgeous, but the help with planning and the support throughout the whole day was impeccable. Pippa really helped to completely eliminate any wedding-stress which allowed for all of us to enjoy such an amazing day together.
Pippa - thank you so much for having us for our wedding day. You've helped to create memories that we will all treasure for the rest of our lives together. Thank you also to your mum for helping the bridal party to arrive to the ceremony without getting soaked! Also, thank you to Mr Pippa for his help throughout the day. It was all just faultless and perfect.

We felt welcome immediately when we arranged a venue visit with the couple a month or so before the wedding, we were shown around by wedding manager Pippa who was very lovely and helpful. Even on the wedding day itself, we felt very at ease by the thorough communication throughout the day - which from a photography & videography point of view is essential to make sure we can plan ahead accordingly.
We hope to return soon to this gorgeous venue!
